एई मन
एई मन
के हो हाम्रो सम्बन्ध ?
न चिन्न सक्छु तँलाई
न त सम्बन्ध तोड्न नै सक्छु
मस्तिष्कले चिनायो तँलाई
कलिलो माटोमा बीज रोपियो
तर आजाद थियौं
तेरो कुनै सीमा थिएन
मेरो कुनै तगारो थिएन
तलाई खै के ले विचलित बनायो
मलाई अमिलो महसुस गरायो
तर केही क्षण त हो
तँ म-बिना पूर्ण हुदैनस
म तँ-बिना जिउन सक्दिन
त्यसैले यति कायम रहोस्
तँ मेरो भित्र
अनि तँबाट म
सधैं रही रहौं।
O mind —
what is this bond of ours?
I can neither truly know you
nor can I break the bond.
The brain made the introduction;
a seed was sown in tender soil —
and yet we were free:
you had no boundary,
I had no fence.
What was it that unsettled you so,
that left this sourness in me?
But it is only a passing moment —
you are not whole without me,
and I cannot live without you.
So let this much endure:
you, within me,
and I, arising from you —
may we remain this way, always.
